European Marketing Director, Broadbean
Reporting to Dan Martin, Managing Director
As Marketing Director at Broadbean, you will lead a dynamic marketing and communications team, as well as being a fundamental part of the strategic management team. Based in London, you will be responsible for honing the SaaS proposition in existing markets and entering new markets with existing and new products. Ultimately, you will continue to secure Broadbean’s position as the global recruitment technology partner for Recruiters.
This role calls for a competent juggler, someone who has a mix of communications, digital and traditional marketing experience. As a great people-person, your role is central to ensuring the continued growth of the business from the inside out. You should be able to convert the needs of the business into effective external and internal campaigns and experiences.
You will be caretaker of the company’s brand and reputation. You will oversee the European marketing strategy with a heavy focus on the UK, delivering and implementing the plans for each region and audience, to budget and specific sales objectives.

Content plays a massive part of the marketing strategy at Broadbean as we are established thought-leaders in Recruitment Technology. An ability to curate, collaborate and commission great content must be a passion.
At the same time, you will manage the demand generation strategy and operations to effectively grow the new business pipeline for Sales. You will have a creative flair and be adept at campaign management as you will drive leads via a number channels through Hubspot, our marketing automation platform.
We are also big on data. Our clients depend on it, the business processes masses of it, and data provides the foundation for our market leading position - it’s essential that you are comfortable analysing, managing data sets and reporting.
As a natural leader, you will coach and manage a small team, as well as apply your own skills and talent. It’s a high pressure job and you will need to know a little bit (or a lot) about Recruitment and / or technology. You will be great at spotting trends and prove that you are constantly re-appraising all the marketing tools within yours and the teams grasp, to make sure you are giving Broadbean an advantage on the global recruitment technology stage.

Areas of responsibility
As Marketing Director at Broadbean your duties will include:
- Delivering and designing the UK and European marketing strategies
- Strategic decision making
- Demand generation
- Content strategy
- Events management
- Partnerships and alliances marketing strategy
- Digital and social strategy
- Multi-location team and resource management
- New product launches
- Responsible for all marketing activity across Europe, namely the UK, France, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands
- Manage and development of a team of 2 direct reports as well as work daily with partners and suppliers
