CRM Database Manager
CRM Manager Our client is a well known and highly regarded marketing agency in London with an excellent range of blue chip clients. Your role as CRM Manager will focus on one of these a key client's CRM data platform and its data activity. Job purpose: With potential to grow into the Data & Platform Lead, your role will be to be responsible for the client and its data operations, supporting them in making sure the CRM platform is operating to the optimal level, with regard to database performance and data flows. Key responsibilities: Your focus will be divided into 2 or 3 key areas from : BAU support, contingency and improvement and project management. These will be allocated dependent on your experience and strengths. PEOPLE Manage and mentor team of data analysts, technical analysts and platform specialists Build relationships with other departments to provide quality agency products TECHNICAL/PROCESSES Working closely with the client's in house database management team, their own IT support and your agency Platform team to identify and communicate any issues related to the performance of the platform Advises and supports in the governance of data within the CRM systems Validates business requirements and provides input into functional requirements for data systems Responsible for all databases and data marts from a business user perspective Resolve issues by working closely with the client, as well as liaising with partners Provide consultancy to internal and external clients around effective use of data To have a wider understanding of the client objectives Ensure all work is carried out correctly against the admin, technical and financial working practices Ensure an ongoing understanding of front end and back-end structure of software solutions Advise on ideas for delivery or process improvements Inspect all data load functionality Skill Set: Excellent attention to detail is a must Proven ability to co-ordinate multiple work-streams Good written and communication skills Strong stakeholder management is essential Ability to multi-task and mentor junior team members Demonstrate good self-motivation, strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure Knowledge and Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a data/online environment with a client, agency or supplier Broad range of experience in marketing with extensive experience of marketing database operations / CRM software Extensive experience of data, databases and data systems Comprehensive experience of working on development projects to deliver new programme solutions Knowledge of SQL (preferably) This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving team where you will be a key player integral to their success with potential to grow into the Platform Lead.
