Digital Communications Officer
- Job Role
Superb opportunity to join a not-for-profit, membership organisation as Digital Communications Officer developing the communications strategy.
This is an interesting and varied role, with a very active target audience so it will afford a great deal of variety on a daily basis. Working as part of the wider marketing team you will help communicate with members, stakeholders, sponsors and the media, with social media being a key element of the role. You will be involved with producing regular communications such as e-newsletters, magazines and reports as well as working closely with the media, keeping them informed of the organisation's activities and events. This organisation's head office function is a small, close knit team, but their audience is nationwide, and they have over 50 satellite organisations to work with so there is plenty of scope to be involved with some very exciting projects. So, duties in a bit more detail will include: - planning, creating and designing all digital content including the website, HTML email, e-shots, and social media activity and you'll also be involved with developing communications for stakeholders, sponsorship/partnership work as well as event organisation and management. Additionally you'll monitor social media channels in order to disseminate information to the team and stakeholders about relevant information.
What we're looking for
To be considered for the role you must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar digital communications role, with proven ability in managing and publishing content and creating visually effective communications, probably with at least two years' experience. Previous experience within a membership organisation would be a great help, but certainly isn't essential. A full driving license and access to a vehicle are required for the role, due to the client's location.
What's on offer?
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a really innovative and well-known organisation. To be considered for the role please send a copy of your CV to Emma Tee firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 0121 355 0955 for further details.
