THE ROLE OF PR DIRECTOR:

Work to develop and implement a global PR strategy which supports the business’ growth objectives
Lead the delivery of global PR initiatives such as product launches, supervising regional execution through regional PR heads
Lead and manage the EMEA PR team to ensure they are providing expert, ongoing Corporate Communications consultancy and support to the EMEA regional management team
Work with the EMEA PR team, to devise, manage, and execute a targeted, proactive media relations ad PR programme
Engage and manage region-wide and in-country PR Consultancy services to enables execution and to inform strategy
Manage reactive issues as required, minimising potential damage to the company
Work with the EMEA communications team to develop internal communications programmes to support region and ensure all successes are communications in a timely manner
Plan, manage and develop corporate brand, image and public relations and employee communications programmes to raise public awareness of the company and communicate internally in a highly effective manner

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE PR DIRECTOR ROLE:

Experience in a PR and internal communications management role
Experience in the EMEA region, preferably in a global organisation
Experience of conducting successful, proactive communications programmes that employ creativity and use a variety of tools, forums and media
Capability for crisis management
Ability to work with all levels of employee and management as well as outside agencies
Be comfortable with assimilating a large volume of incoming requests for support, prioritise and manage expectations
Strong project management skills
Excellent business writing and editing skills
