If you’re a fresh-thinking product development professional looking for your next challenge, this is a superb opportunity to take on a highly rewarding contract with a renowned charity.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Product Co-ordinator to join the Community Safety Products Team on a contract lasting up to 12 months.

The Community Safety Products Team aims to positively change the behaviour of coastal users to become safer around the water by using research and insights to target key at risk groups.

As part of this passionate team, you will have the chance to help develop innovative products and campaigns that will save lives at sea.

As a Product Co-ordinator, you’ll be responsible for helping to deliver behaviour change products and campaigns.

Specifically, you will help to research people’s behaviours and use these profiles to create products that keep people safe on the water, as well as initiatives to increase the public’s knowledge of enjoying the sea safely.

Liaising with the Community Safety Product Managers, you’ll assist with all aspects of product development, from initial research and concept through to production, delivery, evaluation and repurposing of existing products.

You will work with teams throughout the RNLI, as well as with agencies, partner organisations, stakeholders and the public.

As part of your role, you may be required to travel to other RNLI and partner sites.

Interested? To be considered, you must have:

- Product development, problem solving and stakeholder management experience
- Experience of practical project delivery, including working to time, targets and within budgets, using project management processes and best practice
- Knowledge of campaign planning processes, marketing and multi-channel media
- A full driving licence
- A degree level qualification (or equivalent)

As a Product Co-ordinator, you must have a pragmatic and imaginative approach to problem-solving and a team player mentality. You must also be adaptable, calm under pressure and enjoy working on a wide range of projects.

Experience and an interest in water based activities would be beneficial to your application.
