PPC Account Manager, c. to £30k+, Cambridge

My client is a forward thinking digital marketing agency who have grown headcount rapidly this year due to the large volume of work they are winning. They now have a unique opportunity for a PPC Account Manager to join the team, based in the centre of Cambridge.

As Paid Search Account Manager you will manage a team of 3-4 PPC Executives, however don't require a background in managing a team so a great opportunity to take the step up. You will focus on retail clients covering campaigns across Search, Shopping, Re-Marketing, Display, and Social.

The focus of the role will be around managing client expectations, developing top search strategies, and managing / developing your team of executives. There will be ad hoc hands on campaign management. Candidates will be considered from both agency and client side backgrounds.

Key responsibilities;
- Create and deliver winning paid search strategies
- Deliver high-performing paid search campaigns
- Line management of small team of paid search analysts (supported by HR and Ops Team)
- COS/CPA analysis and recommendations
- Helping set roadmaps for assigned accounts; weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually
- Client reporting and weekly calls
- Read digital marketing News and Blogs to grow your knowledge
- Help train other PPC analysts and strategists
- Run campaigns on other biddable media as required, including Facebook


Key skills & background required;
- Working in an e-commerce (preferably retail) or digital marketing environment
- Managing PPC accounts (including remarketing and Google Shopping) with collective budgets greater than £30K/month
- Writing reports inclusive of key-performance metrics, activity reports and strong narrative
- Account management, including chairing meetings or calls
- Ability to set a paid search strategy, articulate the steps/resources required, and oversee the execution of the strategy
- PPC/Adwords/Bing/Shopping Campaigns knowledge - high level expected for both execution and strategy
- Strong analytical and data skills (ability to manipulate and summarise large data sets in Excel)
- Experience of setting ROI/CPA targets in a rational way
- Excellent written and verbal English language
- Digital advertising metrics, including CPL, CPA, CPC, CPM
- Account management - proactive reporting and recommendations, dealing with queries

The office is located in the centre of Cambridge and is only 45 minutes on the train from Kings Cross Station.
