What you will be doing

  • Produce and develop internal communications and provide support to the leadership team, with advice on complex issues.
  • Lead the internal communications strategy, supporting organisational and people development and working closely with the brands teams.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to deliver the corporate narrative and build the employer brand.
  • Develop and deliver effective internal communications strategies aligned with the brand broader corporate strategy and the people and organisation strategy.
  • Lead improvement and implementation of the stakeholder communications strategy.
  • Prepare timely, accurate and informative communications for key stakeholders to share guidance on services and good practice.
  • Plan and assist in marketing and organising events, including AGM and staff briefings.

Experience required to be considered

  • Significant experience in a senior communications role with internal focus and demonstrable track record in developing and managing impactful brand and/or communication activities.
  • Experience of building and developing relationships with a range of stakeholders and a demonstrable ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with groups and individuals with differing perspectives and agendas.
  • An insight and audience-focused approach to communications with a demonstrable ability to adapt messages and methods to meet the needs of specific groups.
  • Experience of working directly with senior leadership, influencing, and supporting their internal communications to staff.

  • Hours: 30 – 37.5.
