We are looking to find a resourceful Business Development Executive to take this interesting & unique role that offers hybrid working and a salary equal to your experience and needs. This is a newly created position which may be particularly fitting if you find yourself looking to broaden your business development experience and become part of a highly affable family company, located right in the heart of Diss, on the Norfolk | Suffolk border.This trusted organisation pride themselves on offering their clients an expansive range of bespoke conversion services, including slitting, rewinding, guillotining, folding, gluing and die-cutting. Determined to remain at the forefront of the market, they invest heavily in their machinery and staff to ensure every aspect of the business delivers eco-friendly, high-quality services.PEL are now look to expand the business into new areas, maximising the utility of their specialist machines such as ‘Titan ER610 Compact Slitter/Rewinder’, rewinding machine, Zund G3 Digital cutter, Polar E92 Guillotine, along with a range of other machinery associated with print, industrial films and the packaging industry.As the Business Development Executive, your role will be pivotal in expanding the business by maximising the potential of their already successful services and products, by gaining new clients, as well as capitalising on sales development opportunities within their existing client base.Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives to ensure the plant is running at capacity.
  • Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities within the conversion, printing and film industry
  • Fostering strong relationships with key clients & partners to enhance business development opportunities.
  • Collaborative working within all areas of the business including the customer service team who will support in account management.
  • Opportunity to attend exhibitions and fairs to successfully promote products and services.

Skills & Experience:

  • A successful B2B sales/business development background, results driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • A background in the packaging, printing and conversion industry would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to forge and build great relationships with both existing and new clients.
  • Understanding business drivers and clients’ needs
  • Great IT and presentation skills ideally including knowledge of Sage 200.
  • Be able to demonstrate your structured sales approach, strong research and negotiation skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
