SALARY CIRCA £75-100,000 (dependant on experience)

Our client a highly respected global financial institution is looking for an experienced Internal Communications professional with experience in a global financial institution to lead the internal communications team.

Working in a fast paced environment, you will be responsible for both the strategic planning and delivery of a range of internal communications initiatives. Reporting into the Global Head of Corporate Communications you will have a varied role

  • Acting as senior advisor to the CEO, Executive Committee and Leadership Team on all internal communications and employee engagement initiatives
  • Leading a team of internal communications business partners
  • Planning and executing the strategy for internal communications at a Group and regional level; ensuring consistency of internal and external messaging
  • Driving the strategy for, planning and deliver of key internal communications, events and programmes including, but not limited to delivering:
    • annual Leadership Forum
    • Employee Engagement survey and action planning
    • Programme of town halls and business briefings
    • Annual CEO awards programme
  • Leading the further development and implementation of internal communications channels including, but not limited to: intranet platform, social media platforms producing the online magazine, webcasting and video-streaming platforms;
  • Proactively promoting values through the internal communication channels and events;
  • Coordinating with the Marketing & Events team, as appropriate, to ensure internal communications, media and marketing campaigns are aligned;
  • Leading Corporate Responsibility communication strategy and implementation, working with the Group Head of Sustainable Business, and partner charities to support employee engagement in charitable initiatives;

Experience required

  • You will have current/recent senior level experience working in a specialist Internal Communications/Employee Communications role,
  • Experience developing employee communications in a large, complex organisation-preferably to include some experience in banking or financial service
  • Experience dealing with M&A comms would be beneficial
  • Experience in leadership communications
  • Experience developing internal communications plans/strategies
  • Experience implementing internal communications across international territories
  • Experience working across a range of channels, with solid experience using Digital channels
  • Experience managing small teams
