A leading media company specialising in technology and software events is seeking a Senior Events & Marketing Executive to take over one of their key titles. Working within the wider marketing and sales teams, you will be responsible for event logistics and marketing for over 20 events per year. 

Responsibilities of the Senior Events & Marketing Executive
  • Writing concise and engaging copy to promote events and drive delegate attendance.
  • Project management of event logistics including venue sourcing, delegate recruitment, contract negotiation, researching and briefing new suppliers and developing proposals and budgets.
  • Manage event digital marketing channels, including website management and site design and UX.
  • Managing production of collateral including print advertising, information packs for delegates and event side branding material.
  • Analysing marketing campaigns and delegate behaviour, feeding back to inform future campaigns.
  • Working with event contributors and industry contacts to ensure events are relevant to current trends in the market.
  • Working closely with the editorial and sales teams on each event to coordinate content.
Requirements of the Senior Events & Marketing Executive
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing for B2B events is essential.
  • Strong experience in offline and online marketing channels essential. 
  • Experience in event management or logistics in a previous role essential.
  • Strong copywriting and email marketing skills are essential.
  • Experience in HTML and website management strongly preferred but not essential.
  • Personable individual with strong communications and organisation skills a must.
