An opportunity has become available for a contractor to take lead of an external communications team within a local London authority.
Your new role
Your new role will be to help scope all the external communications strategies within the authority and build and manage relationships with key stakeholders which range from the community engagement to the media. You will also be expected to produce and manage detailed communications plans, detailing activities and resources necessary for implementation.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will need to have experience in a senior communications role within local government and will also need digital communications channels knowledge and experience. You will need a proven track record in public relations activity and will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be able to effectively present information to key stakeholders.
