An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development / Sales Account Manager to join a hugely successful and unique organisation. Soon to be moving into brand new purpose built offices close to Nottingham.

The company.

The role is open for an experienced Account Manager to join a growing and interestingly individual business. They are an agency which focuses on three key areas – research & insight, behavioural sciences and creative design. With massive blue chip clients across a range of sectors, based around the world – it’s a very exciting time to join the team.

The role.

The agency is seeking to find a Business Development / Sales Account Manager to help build and acquire new relationships with potential clients for the Research & Insight arm of the business. It is a consultative sales role and the Account Manager will be initially given some exposure to existing accounts to fully immerse themselves in the industry and gain an in depth understanding of the organisation. Equally it is important for the Account Manager to build a sustainable stream of revenue from new business client contacts.

The experience we need.

The Business Development / Sales Account Manager will need to have understanding, experience or knowledge in the Market Research industry.
  • Roughly 3 to 5 years’ experience in a relevant post – however potentially would consider someone on the more junior side who can develop in the role or someone more senior who can really prove their worth in adding immediate value to the role
  • A proven track record in acquiring new business
  • A proven track record in developing client accounts
  • Ideally having working in an agency environment
  • Ideally a degree in a relevant field
  • First class communication and presentation skills
  • A willingness to travel internationally
  • Speaking German would be a big plus! (but not essential)
