Business Director/ Media Planning and Buying
Our client has had amazing wins recently and is looking for a Business Director to take a lead with 2 European accounts.
The Business Director role on these accounts will work harmoniously with the senior client account team and is central to the development of overall communications strategy and the creation of new business with their client portfolio.
Looking for an upbeat dynamic and forward thinking person with ideas who can inspire, win and develop new relationships - you must have a significant media planning experience.
- Regular reporting to MD on team and client targets
- Manage a profitable business unit and provide strong management of the team.
- Give direction, manage, appraise and motivate all team members
- Ensure all strategic work is integrated with the groups’ strategist / Head of Strategy
- Deliver consistent exciting, innovative and engaging communication solutions
- Inspire your team to deliver outstanding service and product. Lead by example.
- Deliver strong inputs grounded in data and research to ensure they become the default strategic source for the client
- Constantly deliver re-appraised consumer, market and brand insights that can deliver communication solutions with competitive advantage.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of fee structure/network remuneration.
- Take direct responsibility for increasing profitability
- Maximise all potential revenue from existing channels and constantly look to innovate and develop new revenue streams
- Strategic overview, actively ensure you and your team are up to date with all client, internal initiatives and partner agency and industry and consumer insights.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities from the past and present
- Lead new business pitches and inspire your tam to take part
