Our client is a leading managed services business based in London looking to recruit a driven Sector Marketing Manager to manage the marketing piece within the telecommunications, media and utility sector. Salary up to £50,000.

Reporting to the Head of Sector Marketing, this role will be accountable for the management of a range of activities to assist in the development of an appropriate sales pipeline. These include: sector trend research and analysis, direct/email/social marketing, event management, sponsorship, and bid support.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' B2B experience (ideally telecommunications, media and utility), with a track record of successful project management, strong stakeholder management skills and a strong understanding of the role of marketing in a Solution Selling environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

-Working with our customers, prospects, partners and the Market Intelligence team to develop an in-depth understanding of the trends and challenges in the telecommunications, media and utility market and identify the value that business could deliver in addressing those trends and challenges.
-Working with the Solution Marketing team to ensure the roadmap takes into account the telecommunications, media and utility market requirements and, where appropriate, support Solution Marketing in launching specific solutions to market.
-Working closely with the Sector Head to align marketing activities with sales targets and create demand in line with those targets.
-Developing and executing direct/email/social marketing programmes aimed at various stakeholders in existing clients and new name targets in the telecommunications, media and utility market.
-To project manage participation at key industry events e.g. exhibitions.
-To identify and project manage sponsorship/advertising opportunities.
-Working with the marketing communications team to develop a compelling vertical market sales kit and demand creation collateral.
-Managing relationships with telecommunications, media and utility industry associations and market analysts.
-To project manage collaborative marketing activities undertaken in conjunction with strategic partners in the telecommunications, media and utility market.
-Providing marketing support during the bid process including content creation, event management and information sourcing.
