Data Planner
Are you looking for your 2nd or 3rd role in your career? We need an enthusiastic 2nd / 3rd jobber who is keen to learn but already has some basic marketing data understanding.  Our client is an agency focused on the delivery of insight from their customers' data sources to enable better marketing performance. They are looking for a keen Data Planner or Account Manager to join their team where you will develop your skills working with experienced planners and insight specialists.

The Role

  • Supporting the Client Lead on all elements of Client projects 
  • The quality of all deliverables on their projects
  • Proactive review and recommendation of improvements to processes and procedures
  • Management of delivery commitments and Client liaison as and when necessary
  • Working with external Client Agencies in delivery of project work

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED The Data Planner is a key supporting role in that it’s your work that ensures the Senior Data Planners and Client Leads can ensure their Clients’ success. We are looking for a numerate, Client focused individual with energy and drive and the ability to develop their skills across the data planning discipline. Core skills should include:

  • An attention to detail
  • A careful approach to project management
  • Clear and concise communications skills in dealing with Client and colleagues
  • An organised and structured approach to time management across multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A proactive approach to learning about new channels and technology
  • A collegiate approach to working across multi discipline teams internally and externally across Client and partner teams
  • An appreciation for their own knowledge gaps and a proactive approach to filling them through their PDP

Skills you might bring and will then further develop include:

  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of multiple communication channels
  • The ability to create test matrices to ensure that Client programmes are effectively designed and measured
  • The ability to create insight from marketing data – e.g. campaign reporting, dashboards and the practical recognition of trends from data analysis
  • The ability to proactively contribute to marcomms solutions based on data insight
  • Proactive recommendation of improvements to delivery efficiency
