Who you’ll be working for

This is a truly unique opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join one of the world’s most progressive and well respected retail brands, renowned for innovation and bringing new technology to life.

Based in their new London office you’ll be responsible for facility management across their London creative and communications based team and carries regular contact with a high profile business leader.

What you’ll be doing

Essentially you’ll be the lynch pin in the communications office ensuring the creative team focus on what they are best at whilst the administration, operations and co-ordination of office fall to you to co-ordinate. From diary management, booking couriers and travel, maintaining office systems, handling cash, expenses and raising purchase orders through to ensuring the office is well equipped and running whatever errands will be asked of you that lead to a successful work environment.

You’ll be the face that greets visitors, answer incoming calls (including fending of journalists!), manages the post, and takes control of the offices general and office building maintenance.

There’s more – you’ll organise and co-ordinate events, strategy meetings and support trade shows, keep the team up to date with companywide policies and ensure that introduction emails, training, documentation and IT equipment is prepared in advance for new starters or leavers.

What experience you’ll need

This is a front line role where gravitas, confidence and impeccable co-ordination will be essential to its success. You’ll be an experienced office manager who gets the value they bring to the wider team and the success in turn this creates. Nothing is beneath you, your mission is to support, help take the strain and ultimately create an environment that runs like clockwork.

You’ll be a strong character, personable and with empathy. Experience of working within a creative or communications environment, for example an in-house studio, media business or creative agency would be ideal.
