Senior Account Manager
Set on the outskirts of Manchester, in superb surroundings, this fully integrated B2B agency has been working with an incredible number of brands for some time. Due to further growth, they seek a talented marketer to join their established client services team, with the drive and desire to quickly progress their career to Account Director.The roleAs a key member of the marketing & digital team, you will be involved in every aspect of your clients' marketing and communications strategy in conjunction with other members of the account management and creative teams. Your main responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day relationships with clients of the agency, by providing a highly responsive and quality service and developing robust, profitable client relationships. You will be involved in all stages of project development from brief taking, to market research, concept development, strategic planning input, copywriting, execution and evaluation. You will also be expected to identify and participate in initiatives to help to drive new business and client organic growth. Similarly, you will have direct line management responsibility for more junior members of the account management team.What we're looking forIt is essential you have B2B marketing experience, with a minimum of 4 - 5 years' experience working within an agency or business-to-business in-house marketing environment. Skills and experience are important, but they place equal importance on personality, attitude and cultural fit within this agency. A seasoned account handler, you'll be a commensurate professional and self-starter, that's passionate about marketing, best practice and technologies. A serious thinker with an enquiring mind you'll be thirsty for new knowledge, and importantly, happy to share this around the team. Ambitious and driven, you'll also be happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in as needed. You'll be a genuine people person who enjoys supporting others and seeing junior members of the team thrive and develop under your guidance.What's on offer?A salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 plus benefits as well as structured training and a development plan to help you progress to Account Director as soon as you are ready to take this on, as well as on-the-job and formal training support, depending on your needs (examples include advanced people management skills, commercial skills, planning etc.).
