Interim Head of Marketing (Maternity Cover - 6 months+)

£60k plus benefits

A great opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading and constantly developing employer as a Head of Marketing on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. The Interim Head of Marketing will be responsible for leading the newly formed product marketing team in the areas of acquisition, customer value management and digital implementing innovative strategies that will take the business to the next level.

This is a broad role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and delivery of a new strategic marketing plan to support the evolving requirements of the consumer business and ensuring effective delivery of the brand across all marketing communications channels. It will also involve leading the marketing team.

Role and responsibilities

· Accountable for creating and implementing a marketing and digital strategy to deliver against key performance business indicators to meet customer demands and grow marketing channels
· Lead the marketing team to deliver all marketing requirements including PR, events, sales support, digital, social media and campaigns
· Lead the implementation of the new brand across all marketing communication channels including a review of existing communications
· Work with the key stakeholders
· Manage the team's efficiency and effectiveness building a positive team culture
· Through Managers ensure the business have planned and documented 1-1's, team meetings
· To meet regularly with the Consumer management team in order to ensure that the sales, marketing and service teams work together
· Managing budgets

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior level marketing role
  • Experience of brand management
  • Experience of design and print processes
  • Experience in trade and/or consumer PR
  • Experience in online marketing and social media
  • Extensive multi-channel marketing experience with proven success in all areas of digital, product development and management, acquisition, Customer management
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver marketing strategies to increase new business
  • A motivated leader of people who possesses excellent people management, leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience in delivering results and working under pressure
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills able to liaise with those at all levels
  • Financial services experience is desirable
