Senior Brand Expression Manager

In 1869, people popped into our shop for cheese, milk and butter. They still do today, but that’s all in one aisle. Now we fill every corner of our customers’ kitchens, help them watch their purse strings and dress them from top to toe. That’s before we’ve even mention heating their homes or insuring their cars.

We need to stay on top of everything, making sure each part of Sainsbury’s looks, sounds and behaves like Sainsbury’s. As Senior Brand Expression Manager, that’s where you come in.

Let’s shake it up a bit

You’ll develop it, launch it and roll it out - protecting and enhancing our brand and making sure it’s shown at its consistent best everywhere. We’re talking about the look, sound and feel of every communication across every channel. Ultimately, you’ll inspire and advise senior stakeholders business-wide to lead the development of our reputation and ensure our customers continue to live well for less.

A fully rounded professional

Part team-spirited guide, part charming enforcer, you’ll make sure our distinctive identities and assets combine to create a compelling platform. We’re looking for a very strong track record of governing large corporate identities. Experience of developing - and intuitively using - brand guidelines is a must. So is the creative judgement to lead colleagues and agencies. And, as we can spot passion for retail at 300 metres, you’ll need that in spades too.
