Head of Marketing & BD (Litigation, Arbitration & Employment)
A great new contract role has come onto the market with a large international law firm which has undergone an exciting period of growth and needs an outstanding Marketing and BD specialist to Head up the Litigation, Arbitration and Employment practice groups. This is initially a 9 month contract.
The role is integral in helping to drive forward Practice Group strategy to ensure the organisation maximises its opportunities to grow its revenues from existing and prospective clients, raise the firm's profile and positon within key markets and coordinate its people, knowledge and resources in an effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the global practice marketing and business development plan in line with LAE business strategy and objectives. You will also manage the global team and infrastructure that support practice Marketing and BD as well as acting as the group's central point of contact coordinating activities among the central BD functions to ensure prompt, seamless service delivery in support of the practice group's needs. The role holder will work closely with senior internal clients to develop and institutionalise best practice approaches shared across the five practice group teams, design and implement improved operational infrastructure and processes to facilitate more effective, efficient, streamlined service delivery, ensure effective control and development of high quality work product and coaching, training and developing of staff to raise the profile of the Marketing and BD team.
Pre-requisites for this role include an outstanding academic record allied to proven business development experience gained in a leading law or professional services firm. Litigation, Arbitration and Employment experience would be helpful but it is by no means essential - it is more about how you can influence internal clients to increase revenues.
