Our client is one of the North West leading tech businesses, who are not only noted as a fantastic business to work for but also seen as one of the Top 10 Faster Growing Tech Businesses in the North.

Due to rapid expansion this business are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Partnerships to join their Marketing team. They will play crucial part in delivering the growth ambitions of the company strategy. This is a high profile role with key stakeholders both internally and externally including the co-founders of the business meaning that role holder must be commercially astute, a great relationship builder and passionate about affiliate marketing.

Role Responsibilities:

*Develop the affiliate marketing strategy that aligns to the overall Marketing strategy
*Drive and strengthen relationships and negotiate contracts with key affiliates
*Build a roadmap of innovative ideas to further develop the channel
*Work closely with the product and tech teams to deliver improved tailored customer experience across their key affiliates
*Work closely with the lender and pricing teams, to ensure competitive rates across the affiliate channel compliantly.
*Increase Sales volumes through improved conversion rates to capitalise on increased opportunities as per agreed targets
*Recruit new quality, profitable affiliates to the programme to deliver incremental sales volume
*Build internal relationships across the business with key stakeholders to get buy in for any new initiatives and alignment on the strategy
*Manage the affiliate budget, including commission and bonuses
*Forecast sales volumes and budget on a regular basis and work closely with finance to track monthly spend.
*Live and breathe what's going on in this space across all categories so we can learn from else-where.
*Manage, support and motivate the affiliate team by:
oFacilitating regular team and individual 1-2-1 meetings and effectively communicate with team members at all times
oEnsure that all junior affiliate team members are managed to mutually agreed objectives that support the business objectives
oEnsure all direct reports have development plans and there are opportunities to develop and build on their respective skills through a meaningful personal development plan
oEnsure there is a succession plan for each role in the team

Skills & Knowledge Required:

*Passionate about affiliates and great understanding of the UK affiliate industry
*A great communicator, influencer and confident when presenting to senior management and external partners
*Strong influencing and negotiating skills
*Experienced in managing individual and team performance in a sales environment
*Sales focused and goal orientated
*Ability and experience in seeking out new sales opportunities and either driving change within the team or working across departments to exploit them
*Team player
*Customer focused
*Excellent organizational and planning skills
*Ability to work on own initiative
*Ability to manage on high and complex workload and hit deadlines consistently
*Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards change
*Has a working knowledge of all MS office packages
*Strong influencing and negotiating skills
*Commercially astute, highly numerate and data driven
*Automotive experience / interest in auto is preferred but not essential
