Our Business Development team is firmly embedded within the business and works closely with our partners offering a real expertise in winning new business and delivering an excellent client experience. Our success comes from really understanding our clients, their businesses and sectors and working in strategic partnership with them. But that’s not enough. We know that to secure new business and further growth, we have to really differentiate ourselves in a crowded market - our Business Development team is crucial to this strategy.
The Bids team project manages the delivery of our bid and proposal processes, and co-ordinates strategically significant firm-wide pitches and panel reviews. The team assists with new opportunities to help to penetrate the firm's sectors and key client relationships, and develops and constantly improves the model for best practice in new business bids to maximise the return on time and investment in this area.
We now have an exciting opportunity to join this team as a Bids Assistant. This role will see you providing support to the team on a day-to-day basis, this will involve:
- Monitoring the central Bids Inbox and other online tender portals
- Acting as point of contact with legal teams regarding new and existing opportunities
- Administrative support on live bids and coordinating final drafts
- Assisting with the collation of data for regular reporting
- Coordinating team meetings
You will work with a team of Bids Managers and Executives liaising with Partners, Lawyers and other key stakeholders within the business to ensure responses are of the highest possible quality and delivered in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing administrative support to busy team, working to non-negotiable deadlines. It is therefore essential that you have a proven track record of managing not only your time, but those around you and also the ability to juggle multiple priorities whilst still maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
We are looking for a confident, highly organised, hardworking and articulate individual, who is not afraid to challenge the thinking of others and share their own ideas for improvement.
An enthusiastic and positive attitude is essential.
Ideally, though not essentially, you will have a background in business development or marketing, preferably within professional services.
