A Communications Executive 6 Months Contract located near Portsmouth paying between £30K - £35K pro rata DOE

A national organisation, involved in the technology and energy sector are currently looking for an Employee Communication Executive for a major internal campaign. This job is located near Portsmouth, a regional head office for the organisation. This is a new job within the Communications department and will sit in the internal employee communications team.
Your new role
The Employee Communications Executive will be in the hub of things looking after the communications plan, keeping the programme team up to date on the wider national picture as well as leading engagement sessions and updating their internal communication channels. You'll also help define the business change transformational messages to ensure the employees are all ready for the changes that result from the implementation of the new technology.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hit the deck running, which means we are looking for someone with a lot of experience of working in communications, including owning a communications strategy for one or more large scale complex projects or change programmes. You should have a degree in English or a related subject, be an excellent communicator and have the ability to phrase technical language as something more appropriate. You need to find it easy engaging with colleagues at all levels. You should be confident editing digital and printed media, completing basic layouts, structuring narratives and co-ordinating third party resources. You'll have a good knowledge of content management systems, publishing software and PowerPoint. In addition, you will have the ability to plan and deliver events, produce graphic design material, shoot and edit video, and monitor and moderate internal social media channels.
What you'll get in return
In Return you will be paid between £23,000 - £35,000 pro rata for 6 months and work for a very well recognised organisation during a crucial part of the business change.
