New Digital Account Handler required for Birmingham based media agency.
An opportunity has arisen to join the digital team with one of the country's leading independent media agencies. Taking a holistic approach to strategies, they pride themselves on truly understanding buyer behaviour and what powers the consumer's decision making. This is a brand new role to support team expansion. Reporting to the Digital Account Manager, you will work with the rest of the digital team to handle key accounts. You'll use your excellent grasp of everything digital to provide clients with the best service in PPC, google double click, paid search, social media and web content. Obviously as with any agency environment, you'll get on well if you're a creative person who isn't frightened to offer up new ideas, but what we're really looking for here is someone with technical skills, as it's important that you know how to work with a budget. You'll use your knowledge of planning tools and head for figures to devise budgets, so a genuine understanding of costings within the digital market place is a must. You'll use these skills to tailor procedures for each client/account team to increase productivity, providing regular reports for senior management on client activity and wider strategic information for their specific accounts.
What we're looking for
We're looking someone with 'get up and go' and a 'roll up sleeves' attitude. Obviously digital marketing is your passion, and you will have a minimum of two years' experience with digital display, DoubleClick, SEO, PPC, paid search and website development. Ideally you will have previously worked within a digital agency or been part of the digital team within a full service agency. Don't be put off if you love the sound of this role but your experience is mainly 'in house', providing you are able to demonstrate in your application that you have client side experience and a head for figures then we've really like to see your CV. No matter what your background, you must have experience of working with clients and other external parties. The client is treated as number 1 in this agency, so the post holder must be confident enough to speak to clients in a professional and friendly manner. You will be handling accounts across a variety of industries, but experience in the arts and culture sector would be a real plus. Perhaps you have worked with museums, galleries or book publishers previously. A working knowledge of digital media such as guardian and other news websites would also be advantageous.
What's on offer?
Salary on offer is £28,000 - £32,000. Extra support will also be provided if there are any specific areas of the job specification that you need training for. In additional to the usual benefits, there's some great social activities to join in with like walking weekends, office parties, summer bbqs, quiz nights and ski trips.
