PR & Events Executive
This is an opening with a PR, event management, media and marketing agency, which has been established for over 10 years. They have a reputation for business innovation and success, and work across a range of sectors including entertainment, leisure and tourism, retail, food and drink, education, law and sport.
In this role, you will primarily be working with an iconic UK retail brand as your main client, your role will be wide and diverse. It will involve instigating and coordinating experiential events on a regular basis, brand awareness campaigns, providing PR support, such as writing releases and media relations, dealing with key clients and stakeholders. It will also involve other aspects such as writing content, social media and general marketing support. You will also be working with other clients which are prominent names in the food, leisure and drink sectors. On a day to day, you will be involved in lots of external liaison, writing creative briefs, speaking to local community organisations, managing photography, content writing as well as client & media relations. You will also oversee various other social and marketing campaigns so it is fair to say that no day is the same which can only add value to your skills and future career prospects.
What we're looking for
It is essential that you have at least two years in a diverse PR & marketing role, with a particular emphasis on co-ordinating events, social media/content as well as local and regional PR because this will be a main part of your role. Ideally, your previous skills and expertise will have been honed in an agency or in-house consumer focused environment, where you have been exposed to lots of different projects. It is also envisaged that you will thrive in a fast paced environment and are organised and able to work on multiple projects at the same time. The ability to write effective press releases and content for different media is also very important. There is travel involved in this role so you will need a full driving licence.
