Brand new Business Development Manager role aligned to exciting new service offering in prestigious global law firm. Full mix role which is client facing.  This global law firm has gone through phenomenal growth in the last two years through major mergers and is a true competitor to the magic circle firms.  The marketing business development function boasts a number of long-standing members and a great culture.  It has an excellent track record for promoting staff and a partnership that is really bought into marketing and business development.

In this new Business Development Manager role you will be aligned to the firm’s exciting new service offering which the firm offers on a global level.  You will work closely with the head of the new service line to put a business development plan and strategy in place including pricing, key messaging and budgets. You will play an advisory role to the partners, providing coaching to help them understand and promote the new service. You will work with the Communications Manager on the new brand for the service.  The role will have a client facing element in that you will conduct client listening to gain an understanding of clients’ requirements from the new service. You will also become involved in new product development. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a business development manager looking for something a bit different. The role is a greenfield site where you can really make your mark and get involved in the growth of a new service from the beginning. You will have a solid track record in marketing and business development within the legal sector.
