A large travel company based in Warwickshire are looking for an experienced Marketing Data Analyst. The marketing department as a whole consists of over 50 people because customer retention and brand image is at the heart of everything they do. It would be your responsibility to handle and manipulate data to identify how customers interact with the company and you'll then use this information to identify opportunities for future campaigns. Overseeing how customer data is compiled within the company will be your 'baby', so you'll be developing and implementing automated reports and dashboards, monitoring data systems, undertaking regular quality checks and working with the appropriate department to report and fix any errors. Following the gathering of data, you'll deliver commercially valuable analysis which could be utilised for presentation in various forums. On a more strategic level, you'll work closely with Senior Management to create annual marketing plans and budgets.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with a good mix of data skills and marketing 'know how'. Though this is an analytical role that naturally requires someone with a good head for figures, you'll very much be part of a wider marketing team and will be expected to offer up ideas and suggest directions for upcoming CRM campaigns. This isn't a role for someone who wants to hide behind spreadsheets and be left alone! There is a real buzz in this team and we want someone who relishes being part of it! As well as an interest in marketing you'll also have skills in SQL querying and programming, CRM, Microsoft Business Intelligence Software (Reporting Services), OLAP Cubes, Relational Data Warehouses and be proficient in Excel including pivot tables. On the marketing side, you'll have experience of reporting on campaigns.
What's on offer?
This is fantastic opportunity to work for a forward thinking company with a larger than average marketing department. Salary on offer is up to £35k, you'll also enjoy a generous increase in your annual leave entitlement over your first couple of years and there's an opportunity to buy additional days. We'd ideally like to find a suitable candidate on a permanent basis, but we would also consider someone looking for contract work. Please send your CV to email@example.com or call 0121 355 0955.
If this isn't the role for you we may well have something else more suitable on our books. If you are genuinely looking for a new opportunity at the moment, please send us your CV.
