With branches spanning across the Midlands and North, this retailer is looking to add a truly Creative Artworker to their team and would like them to join sooner rather than later.
During their 30 years in the industry, this company has become a leader in their field and has enjoyed year on year growth which has seen them expand across the UK and launch a busy e-commerce site. As the company has expanded so has their studio, meaning that they are now in the position to hire a Creative Artworker who is able to come up with, and present, original ideas whilst also being able to produce work that is to an agency standard. Working closely with the marketing team and the Design Studio Manager, you'll be creating designs and print ready artwork from initial brief and will be working on a number of on and offline projects which could include anything from point of sale, logo design, packaging, and direct mail to bespoke emails, social media and press advertisements. You will also be involved with third party suppliers and will expected to liaise with them on a regular basis.
What we're looking for
This company is ideally looking for someone from a similar role with around two years' experience, from either a client side or agency studio background and they are keen to meet with Artworkers who can put a creative spin on their work. It's essential that you have a complete understanding of the print process, from artwork construction to a PDF based colour managed workflow and of course you will have to be able to demonstrate that you can interpret a brief and produce designs that are on brand and to deadlines. Using a Mac and Microsoft Office should be second nature to you and you should be fully conversant in Adobe Creative Suite and skilled in HTML. Driving is also essential for this role.
What's on offer?
They are offering a salary of £18,000 to £22,500 depending on experience. So, if you'd like to become an integral part of this creative studio please don't hesitate to apply using the link.
