Our client is a leading specialist in the marketing industry and builds powerful online presences for a variety of organisations and businesses. They are now looking for a Marketing Account Director to join their team.

As the Marketing Account Director, you’ll oversee the team responsible for project managing all national and Europe-wide marketing campaigns for customers. 

Working closely with the MD and Department Heads, you’ll contribute to all creative briefs whilst overseeing project budgets and the quality of account management. 

Motivating a cross-functional team, you will share your knowledge to ensure that employees fulfil their potential. You’ll inspire staff to work to the best of their ability and deliver projects within timescales. 

Additionally, you will drive the strategic direction of each account by working across the mix of digital marketing channels. 

Your other duties will involve: 

- Liaising with project sponsors regarding expectations and risk management 
- Managing paid media, research, proposal and implementation activities 
- Overseeing promotional plans for each customer 
- Managing multiple clients at any one time 

To be considered, you must have: 

- Previous experience in a senior account or marketing management role 
- Experience of driving a content strategy 
- Website build experience which included sales and marketing, promoting websites, and up-selling 
- Strong digital skills 

As the Marketing Account Director, you must be an articulate leader with a creative approach to problem-solving. Exceptional time-management, prioritisation and planning skills are also key, as is a strategic mindset. 

Our client is a fast-paced agency, so this role isn't for the lighthearted, there's never a 9 to 5, so flexibility towards working hours is essential.
