Customer-centric and commercial B2C mortgage Proposition Manager and Developer role with a challenger bank.

Exciting opportunity for someone to move into a role to shape the overall consumer mortgage proposition. This role will contribute to the maintenance of the current mortgage portfolio, ensuring the achievement of business' commercial goals, and also to the development of brand new propositions to create consumer advocacy.

This role helps to develop amazing propositions which meet customers' changing needs and circumstances.

  • Support the development of the end-to-end mortgage proposition
  • Support the delivery of mortgage pricing proposals to ensure the portfolio develops in line with commercial expectations
  • Proactive pricing activities of mortgage products to achieve targets and business strategy
  • Develop new products and propositions in line with agreed processes that maximise market opportunities
  • Continue to develop the customer retention strategy as the business matures and grows

Knowledge, Skills and Traits:

  • Good general knowledge of the UK Financial Services marketplace, including having an understanding of mortgage products and policies
  • Able to understand customer value creation potential and value drivers
  • Understand the commerciality of mortgage propositions
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
  • Maintain good personal standards in how you behave and appear, and help others to do the same
  • Set and communicate clear objectives so people know what they need to achieve
