Position: Brand Manager – Marketing Foodservice

About the role: 

You will assist in the creation and delivery of our client’s Foodservice Marketing strategy, being an integral part of a team that is passionate about Foodservice brands, their customers and great food. 

You will own, create, manage, implement and analyse brand strategies and performance using all elements of the marketing mix to drive brand and business growth across Europe. You will be responsible for working with category and specialist business teams to lead the development and execution of strategic growth plans for given brands. 

This role establishes brand proposition and standards and champions these within the wider team to ensure product quality and brand standards are met for each quality tier. You will also manage the full marketing mix to deliver marketing initiatives that will achieve company and own brand strategy, developing great products, initiatives, food and business solutions, innovation and real value. 

Main responsibilities will include: 

- Work with the marketing team to develop and deliver the foodservice marketing strategy, working to a budget and deliver marketing that has a real impact to the business 
- Manage and develop brand identity (vision, mission, goals and strategies) to create a lasting impression among customers, improve product sales and market share 
- Take on responsibility for the implementation of brand strategy into brand plans, brand positioning, traditional and digital marketing initiatives and integrated campaigns 
- Take on the management of product portfolio within the brands 
- Manage packaging design and branding as well as brand re-launches including full packaging design updates 
- You will be responsible for the development new product categories to the business and your brands and implementing go-to market strategies 
- Liaise with global brand teams and central marketing to ensure alignment with global strategy 
- Liaison with their marketing agencies and other 3rd parties over brand strategy and campaign development 
- Tracking, reporting and analysing brand performance with understanding on ROI on campaigns to drive brand growth and identify opportunities for growth 

About you: 

- Experience putting together brand strategies and marketing campaigns with clear objectives, strategy and tactics 
- Creative flair for marketing communications 
- Working to tight timelines, be a self-starter and have good problem solving skills 
- Presentation skills will also be key for this role so you should be confident to stand up and put forward your view 
- Experience will be in FMCG or food and beverage production in either B2B, B2C or both is desirable 
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent 
- Excellent project management skills, ideally within a large business 
- Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business
