Media Planner
A Head of Media / Head of Digital Media / Head of Media Planning is required by a market leading publisher for both the strategic and day-to-day activity required to meet the objectives to define and build out the strategy of its owned assets in order to drive significant customer acquisition to the commercial products.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing the Head of Media / Head of Digital Media / Head of Media Planning will be responsible for: -

*Planning of all commercial campaigns across display, social, mobile, programmatic and above the line media channels to drive acquisition
*Responsible for all on and off network inventory, 'buying' the available
*Campaign management from media brief to execution
*Working with internal stakeholders and agencies as well as managing budgets
*Manage a team of media planners, to trade the assets
*Management of agency or agencies to provide the necessary bandwidth to handle multiple campaigns with a range of KPIs
*Ensure customer experience is optimal both from a delivery of relevant advertising (segment targeting) and from UX metrics such as page load times & frequency capping etc
*Develop a robust attribution model to highlight the impact of media inventory on sales

The Head of Media / Head of Digital Media / Head of Media Planning must have: -

*Extensive experience with off and online media planning and buying
*Demonstrable experience of running and growing a P&L
*Day-to-day planning and oversight of online marketing execution and customer acquisition initiatives
*Budget/forecasting ability based on KPIs and ROI
*Online trading management experience is essential.
*Tracking and analysis of data to optimize marketing investment across channels. Highly numerate and fluent in aggregating, analysing and reporting core online campaign performance metrics.
*Managed external agencies

The Head of Media / Head of Digital Media / Head of Media Planning will work hand-in-hand with the all commercial business units and managing a team of media planners to ensure the execution of the trading calendar to deliver against trading plans and targets. It's a brand new role requiring a data driven lover of Media Planning who is looking to head up a team all about change, acquisition and growth!
