Communications & PR Manager - Global Law Firm
This is a rare, opportunity for a highly talented marketing communications specialist to join a Global law firm as Communications and PR Manager and cover the entire internal and external communications remit.
The purpose of the role is support the implementation of the firm's PR and internal communications strategy, and to act as a central point of excellence for the firm across all practice groups, sectors and offices. The Communications and PR Manager will be joining a busy PR and internal communications team and will be responsible for the day to day running of the firm's Press Office, including responding to press enquiries, drafting and disseminating press releases, liaising with journalists, and pitching stories to legal, sector and business media. The role is much wider than just PR though and the other primary areas of focus are corporate communications, directories and e-marketing. On the planning side, you will be tasked with developing and managing a firm wide marketing communications plan, in order to build and raise the profile of the firm and will also be a brand guardian working with external agencies and internal clients in order to maintain a consistent and powerful identity.
You will need to be a graduate and it is important that you come from a professional services environment, most likely the legal sector, with a proven track record in marketing and communications. Broader exposure to media relations is also essential, as is the ability to deal effectively at all levels in the organisation in order to influence the partnership.
