Our client is a rapidly growing but already established group organisation based in Lancashire, providing a diverse range of animal products for over 200 years, both B2C and B2B. The business are investing in expanding their marketing function to drive growth forward, looking to recruit several junior to senior positions across multiple brands within the organisation.

The business are looking to recruit a Social and Content Associate to focus on the creation and distribution of content across many platforms. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for managing the social media accounts (primarily Facebook and Twitter) and blogging platforms across the multiple brands within the wider business. The successful candidate will launch a social media strategy under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager for brands not yet using social media; this is a great opportunity for a driven graduate or junior marketer to get creative and build experience, developing and implementing strategy.
The successful candidate will be a talented writer with an eye for detail, being able to strategise communication to different customers and the ability to effectively report on their own successes.

Some of the key responsibilities will be:
*Managing social media across the ten organisations within the wider business.
*Responsible for the company's content, producing relevant content across each business.
*Creating relevant blog articles and encourage community participation.
*Developing relationships with key online advocates, influencers and vets to produce relevant content for websites, blogs and social media platforms
*Write guest posts for other websites where it may benefit the business.
*Get involved with relevant conversations outside of our key platforms (including forums and other Facebook pages).
*When required, producing live social media content for events (e.g. live tweet or video streaming)
*Developing engaging content for multiple websites where required.
*Work closely with colleagues in marketing, as well as other business teams, to effectively support and promote business initiatives via social specific campaigns and programs.
*Utilising SEO in the creation of new content and understand its importance.
*Working with product managers and technical advisors to create vet friendly technical content for LinkedIn.

Essential Skills and Experience:

*Excellent copywriting skills and an eye for detail.
*Comfortable writing to both B2C and B2B audiences.
*An understanding of the power of social media for business and financial gain
*In-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
*Experience within SEO.
*Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others in a cross-functional team environment to support specific business priorities.
*Comfortable creating reporting and working with data.
*Excellent communication, numerical and analytical skills.
*A positive attitude with a hands-on approach to work tasks.
*Skilled in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
*Understanding and experience of Google Analytics.
