One of the largest independent multi-channel retailer within it's industry. Based in the North West this business is looking to hire a Head of Marketing who will be responsible for executing and developing their exciting Brand oriented Marketing strategy. Reporting into the CEO, the head of Marketing will take their mission, vision and values, together with a well-developed marketing strategy and bring it to life both internally and externally in all channels. The role will involve leading our Marketing and Brand teams while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver commercial goals.

This business operates across all media channels including TV, Press, PR, Outdoor etc, as traditional above the line activities and has a fast developing content marketing and digital strategy that is becoming a primary channel. The head of marketing will have experience across channels and will be excited by the opportunities and challenges currently unveiling in content marketing and working closely with their expert head of digital.

To be successful in this role, the Head of Marketing will be passionate about making the brand message "come alive" and will embody the brand values and be committed, caring, progressive, trusted, exceptional and fun. The culture is fast paced and relentless and requires characters that embrace change and love to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:
*Execution, development and consistency of company's marketing & brand strategy and message. Achievement of commercial goals and ROI by operating a strong, targeted and well measured funnel strategy to exceed budgeted results within budget.
*Leading and developing the Marketing Team.
*Effective and cost effective use of agency, managing internal vs external bias with a view to maximising internal operation and value.
*Campaign, event, content marketing, social and PR management across all channels.
*Strong alignment and involvement with the product strategy to drive conversion to sale and manage collections and launches in a fashion industry pattern.
*Internal and external communication of the brand strategy including values and beliefs.
*Collaborate closely with Head of Digital to maximise digital ROI.
*Undertake continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends.

What are we looking for:
*Belief and understanding of brand strategy and messaging construction.
*Extensive demonstrable experience of leading a Marketing function, ideally but not restricted to in a SME.
*Demonstrable track record of delivering a Marketing & Brand strategy an orientation towards fast paced delivery and driving results.
*Leading edge experience and understanding of content marketing strategy and channels including hub, digital, social and PR.
*Strong and measured funnel strategy awareness and operational experience. - Above the line channel experience including TV.
*Strong skills in the use and construction of brand messaging to drive demand.
*Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a fast paced dynamic environment to drive results.
*Experience in a Retail or fashion environment, ideal but not essential
*Exceptional Leadership and Development skills
