A new FTC role for a Communications and Engagement Lead with a charity based in central London paying £30K

Your new company
The organisation is a charity based in Central London and they are responsible for managing the majority of offenders under probation supervision. They work alongside the National Probation Service, which manages offenders who have been assessed as presenting high risk of harm to others. The organisations role is to reduce re offending and make London safer.

Your new role
the role has become available due to the organisation going through an internal transformation which has led to the communications Team needing more support. the role is an initial 6 months but does have the potential to be extended for another 6 months.

You will be responsible for leading on engagement and communications for the organisation change making sure that all staff have a clear understanding of the new vision for the organisation. You will suggest new and fresh approaches for communication of project messages to ensure they reach as many staff as possible. You will have a creative flare and be able to translate standard text into exciting targeted messages that will engage target audiences. you will have a passion for writing exciting content and be passionate about the organisations vision and objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have the following experience to be successful:
- Previously have worked in a similar communications role
- Experience of managing events
- Experience of working with communications platform previously especially on the digital side
- Excellent writing skills
- Have worked in an engagement role previously
- Internal Communications
- Have a passionate and vibrant personality that can build rapports easily.

The candidates background will ideally be from and organisation that has gone through an internal change or public sector.

Note: This is a junior role, the organisation is looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of experience that wants to take their next steps in communications career.
