This mid-sized law firm specialises in corporate, property, litigation, sports and private client work. In an increasingly competitive market it recognises the need for more rigour in business development and is hungry to make this happen.

In this Head of Business Development role you will develop a business development capability for the first time. You will work with practice groups and partners to develop and implement business development plans, develop targeting initiatives and identify and work with partners to identify key clients and develop a key client programme. You will play a strategic advisory role to partners providing coaching, training and encouraging them to approach new clients and cross-sell with existing clients. You will also lead on marketing projects. There is enormous potential to really make a difference and a great many opportunities to exploit new business so this is a really exciting opportunity where you can make your mark.

You will have a significant track record in a senior level business development gained within professional services with some of this experience having been gained in the legal sector.  You will have considerable gravitas with the ability to influence, persuade and galvanise partners.
