We are looking for a proven Sales & Business Development professional with minimum 2 years of digital marketing technology and services sales to the hospitality/hotel or travel industry (specifically website technology, CMS, CRS, CRM, online media, SEM, SEO, Social Media, Mobile Marketing).

The company’s client base includes top hotel brands, resorts, casinos, and hotel ownership and management companies throughout the world. Their top partners include leading technology companies including Google, Adobe and Facebook.

The firm has won over 350 prestigious industry awards for its digital marketing and website design services, including numerous Adrian Awards, Davey Awards, W3 Awards, Web Awards, Magellan Awards, Summit International Awards, Interactive Media Awards, IAC Awards, and others.

Today, our client is expanding its team of talented professionals and looking for a high energy full-time, Business Development Executive (Sales) based in London who will be responsible for securing new clients across the UK.

We are looking for a proven Sales & Business Development professional with minimum 2 years of digital marketing technology and services sales to the hospitality/hotel or travel industry (specifically website technology, CMS, CRS, CRM, online media, SEM, SEO, Social Media, Mobile Marketing).

How can you expect to spend your day?

The successful candidate will initially work from a home office and communicate and coordiante all activities with executive oversight in New York.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Prospect new leads and qualify existing leads
  • Develop new client relationships via sales calls, email and attending industry trade shows and conferences
  • Identify and close deals with new hospitality clients
  • Reporting and analysis of client needs and identify solutions to those needs
  • Master the complex suite of services and technologies of the company
  • Perform phone, Webex, join.me, and face-to-face presentations to sell the company’s capabilities
  • Manage internal and external sales processes – make sure all client deliverables are presented and delivered on time, and client expectations are being met
  • Weekly reporting and day to day communication with the EVP in New York

Ideal candidate's personality and qualifications:

The company is seeking a self-motivated, self-disciplined, and self-driven individual with a passion for sales and hospitality (preferably digital sales).

  • Minimum of 4-years’ college degree; BS/BA in Business, Technology or Marketing preferred
  • Knowledge of hospitality and travel industry and technology/marketing solutions
  • Proven sales experience. You must be a sales hunter and a collaborative team player!
  • Experience and confident presenting too small and large groups
  • Proven record of new account growth and retention
  • Must be comfortable in boutique company environment with emphasis on team work and results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, confident and energetic personality
  • Computer proficiency required including Sales Force, MS Office, Internet research

Highly preferable:

Minimum 2 years of digital marketing technology and services sales to the hospitality industry (specifically website technology, CMS, CRS, CRM, online media, SEM, SEO, Social Media, Mobile Marketing).
