Our client is a global FMCG company, looking for an experienced, successful brand manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a complete relaunch of one of their most iconic product portfolios.
THE ROLE OF BRAND MANAGER:
Complete brand ownership over product portfolio
Lead the relaunch campaign of the portfolio in 2017 in close collaboration with the the EU category team.
Lead key calendar initiatives of your brands.
Day to day management of the portfolio.
Lead commercialisation of local projects linked to your brand portfolio.
Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, R&D, procurement, operations, finance to execute all product innovations.
Execute tracking and analysis of key brand activity and identify return on investment and learnings to be implemented.
Support team in providing periodic brand performance analysis, analysing sales data, consumer and market results.
Partner with Senior Brand Manager to execute new business and growth opportunities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR BRAND MANAGER:
Experience of working on FMCG/ Consumer brand in Blue Chip Company
Brand management experience especially in product / package development, product launch , shopper marketing, promotions.
Evidence of passion for and foundational knowledge of the marketing discipline in general and for consumer understanding and behaviour.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills, good influencing skills. Ability to gain alignment cross-functionally and leverage resources to achieve results.
Strong analytical ability, e.g. to analyse data, develop insights, evaluate alternative approaches and make firm recommendations.
Strong attention to detail.
A self-starter, able to work independently, takes ownership and responsibility.
