Sales & Marketing Assistant - NHS Medical Equipment Provider

£18,000 depending on experience


Who we are:

We are approved NHS Supply Chain framework provider for Ophthalmology equipment.

The company is seeking a graduate or skilled Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our growing business, ideally from life science marketing background.

Assistants Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

> Provide general assistance to the Managing Director with marketing and promotional activities, congresses, exhibitions and other events.
> Take inbound and outbound customer customer calls and emails.
> Produce sales quotations for new and existing clients.
> Manage the companies medical products internet based communication updates, social media programmes and related communications.
> Provide assistance with the implementation of new and existing installation of medical products.
> Maintain and adhere to company quality management system ISO 13485 
> Must be willing to travel to exhibitions and company events
> Other activities as required to assist the team.

This role will suit someone who has recently graduated in marketing and /or looking to start a career in marketing in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

If you feel you have the skills, experience and drive for this role, some of your responsibilities will include:

Social Media:

> Help drive the company’s Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google+ profiles and content to increase reach and value.
> Research, identify and implement new channels and activities to increase our social media exposure.
> Help produce new and varied content to share on social media.

Web and Database Updates:

> Update website with the latest company information and help implement new web functionality.
> Develop and improve SEO strategy to raise website profile.
> Maintain Blog.

You Must:

> Be super enthusiastic
> Be interested in medical technology sales and marketing
> Have the drive to develop and grow within the role and the business
> Be educated to degree level or possess other, relevant qualifications or experience
> Be a good communicator with exceptional organisational skills
> Enjoy working as part of a team and on your own
> A knowledge of sales and marketing tools would be an advantage
