This is a brand new opportunity for a Brand and Communications Manager to join a leading and fast growing specialist and forward thinking healthcare orientated business where you’ll lead the planning, production and delivery of imaginative, distinctive and measurable communications that attract, inspire, inform and involve employees and clients. Essentially you’ll help develop and evolve a cogent brand that reflects the business’s achievements and ambitions in a complex, competitive marketplace.

Who you’ll be working for

With a national presence and significant growth per annum the business hold big plans to continue their success story. From within a centralised (and relatively newly formed) marketing and creative team you’ll collectively drive the businesses communications programme forward to help realise these ambitions.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer you’ll be taking on a key role in a newly structured team.
As Brand and Communication Manager you’ll be an essential foundation with a core focus on devising and producing original marketing communications, content and support materials from concept to delivery. As they undergo a major brand review, the marketing team will be responsible for leading the design and development of a fresh new set of visual identity guidelines and subsequently for overseeing their maintenance and evolution.

Working closely with marketers and non-marketers, every day will involve collaboration with both internal and external resources. A commitment to digital investments also means that brand and communications will be central to the development and exploitation of new channels, new formats and new techniques. These include online publishing (Blogs, public videos, podcasts, email news, social media), events, staff communications, training and educational resources.

What experience you’ll need to apply

In the role of Brand and Communications Manager we’re seeking an ambitious, versatile marketer with great planning and management abilities underpinned with a mix of design and production flair.
This will call for several years frontline marketing experience, in an agency, media owner or client-side marketing department with a core focus has been on delivering initiatives or campaigns yielding measurable results.

You’ll have proven hands-on skills in the conception, production and planning of marketing communications; from tactical campaigns to long-term brand building programmes and experience of delivering marketing that adds value throughout the customer lifecycle; driving acquisition, retention, customer care and advocacy, for example membership-driven organisations or subscription based businesses would be ideal.

Confident in managing multiple work streams and adept at switching between leading projects and you’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to hit deadlines.
A good working knowledge of owned, earned and paid channels and how they work together will also be essential with the ability to adapt and extend ideas that span social, direct and OOH media.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

A salary commensurate with experience, bonus, benefits and the opportunity to join a fast growing team where you’ll enjoy autonomy and achieving direct results from your actions.

Please get in touch with your CV and salary requirements now. We are ideally looking for a start date of November 1st 2016, however this can be adjusted for an exceptional candidate looking to commence employment sooner.
