Brand Manager
A B2C Brand & Marketing Services Manager role with a FTSE-listed financial services group.

Your aim is to find efficiencies with the agency roster and deliver results in line with the Consumer business strategy, by developing and managing communications plans to support new customer acquisition and brand awareness targets.

Remit Overview:

  • Develop creative direction and communication plans for the consumer division
  • Develop brand identity programme for a portfolio of newly-launched products
  • Manage a large production budget for development and fulfilment of campaigns
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to understand campaign results, share learnings and recommend improvements
  • Support forecasting and resource planning to ensure an adequate level of resources is in place for online and offline campaigns
  • Coordinate development of insight needs to support communication plans and differentiation of propositions
  • Analyse and interpret insights to ensure relevant key messages are delivered across all channels
  • Measure increase in awareness and consideration of the business as a product provider across propositional territories
  • Develop a test-and-learn approach across all marketing channels to evidence that challenging cost-per-sale and ROI targets are achievable
  • Support and manage the procurement of suppliers for TV, DM and printing
  • Ensure that processes are in place to ensure TCF outcomes and the group's statement of intent are met

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Experience managing brand promotion campaigns to reinforce positioning ahead of product launches, ideally from a regulated business (e.g. finance, telcos, utilities), or from an agency
  • Comfortable managing the delivery of a high volume of varied advertising
  • Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
  • Skilled in organising, coordinating and executing with external vendors on marketing acquisition projects
  • Strong communication skills to manage relationships with in-house and external creative and media agencies
  • Strong analytical, methodical and structured approach
  • Ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience in people management (teams of 1-5)
