A permanent Part-time Communications Advisor for Kingston University. A flexible working pattern is available for this role.

As an Communications Advisor you will be responsible for ensuring that the People strategy is reflected across all HR communications and messaging. The role will offer professional advice to the HR and project leads across all communication channels in order to engage employees in using HR services.

Using your excellent communications knowledge,you will provide expert advice and guidance on the design, delivery and evaluation of project communication plans for a variety of HR stakeholder groups including the coordination of the HR project communications calender in relation to key HR programmes. .

You will also be required to provide guidance on the development of specific communications plans and offer on-going support to ensure language and presentation in all communications is consistent and in line with Kingston University's policy's.

You will be required to gather material across a number of HR initiatives in order to produce material for the regular communications cycle alongside the HR online news area. A key to success will be your ability to develop and maintain website appearance and to ensure all content is on brand and in line with key messages.

You will also have the ability to identify areas for improvement and site development. What you'll need to succeed Your Communications knowledge will include a range of multi- channels to deliver internal communications. You will be experienced in delivering a communications strategy .Ideally you will have worked on a project which includes working with HR to implement communications.

You will have demonstrable experience of understanding the importance of key messaging, 'tone of voice', brand consistency as well as strong content skills and able to write engaging content for a range of audiences. This role requires strong engagement and stakeholder management skills due to the variety of partners and stakeholders that we work with so you will need to show that you can network efficiently with multiple stakeholders in order to build relationships and ensure consultation across a range of communication initiatives.

It is essential that you are a resilient and ambitious individual possessing exceptional communication and relationship building skills. You will be flexible and creative in your approach, with the ability to analyse situations and influence others.
