Business Development Manager for a full service regional firm, this role gives someone the opportunity to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond!  Based in Reading, you will be responsible for business development and marketing activity across the London, Reading and Southampton offices. This is a client-facing and partner-facing role working across the mix to help deliver the firm’s growth and profile-raising plans.

This is a full mix role, encompassing business development and marketing.  Supporting the BD Director, you will provide input into the strategic plans, manage key client relationships, lead cross selling initiatives to ensure offices are working collaboratively with clients, manage the firm-wide targeting program and help the partners win new business.  You will also support this new business and key client activity by creating winning bids and pitches, create engaging collateral and marketing materials, events and online communications.

The ideal candidate will have gained a good foundation in a professional services BD/marketing role.  You will be able to demonstrate strong influencing skills and be comfortable coaching partners with their BD efforts.  You may already be a manager, or be a senior executive looking for the next step in your career.   This is a great opportunity to work closely with partners and own projects in a firm when you can see your efforts make a difference.
