Bid Manager (EMEA Head of Bids)
Head of Bids EMEA for a leading international law firm that boasts a strong global client base and a very integrated approach. The EMEA bids function is still very much in its infancy, so this role really offers the opportunity to be part of something that is growing, and really put your stamp on a role.
Leading from the front, this role will effectively head up the team and be responsible for working with key stakeholders across the firm’s international offices. Working across EMEA and globally with the central US team, you will be involved in bids of all sizes from tailored one off proposals to existing clients to large global panel pitches. You will also be responsible for leading on bids for the firm’s most prestigious clients and targets. This will involve coaching the partners through every step from the bid/no bid decision to creating stand-out content to dress rehearsals and post bid feedback. You will implement best practice processes and work in partnership with the wider BD and marketing team to create a seamless approach to the pitch life cycle, and ensure all intelligence is captured for future use. The firm’s Marketing & BD function is a well-oiled machine, and has excellent buy in from the very top.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong track record of delivering global bids and creating new processes, working with and influencing partners and other key stakeholders. You should enjoy taking something from infancy through to maturity and have the ability to get ideas off the ground. You will have experience in the legal or wider professional services arena.
