Sales/Business Development Director

Head of Business Development for a top 20 accountancy firm.  A growing and ambitious firm that wants to drive sales from the very top.  This firm is going through an exciting development under new leadership.  Working with partners, this role will lead on new business activity and coach the fee earners through opportunity and pipeline management.

This exciting, client facing senior level sales role has a varied remit and will be a challenging and rewarding position.  Working closely with the Partners, the role will involve creating and implementing a sales focused business development plan, ensuring all activity fully supports the growth objectives of the firm.  Utilising your own network of contacts, you will open doors and develop new relationships.  Internally you will work closely with partners to develop and project manage targeting initiatives, identify and target new business opportunities and help manage prospects through the sales pipeline.  This will be a highly visible role both internally and externally, and requires an individual with significant drive and a natural flair for selling complex service offerings.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, senior level business development professional, and will have worked in professional services, ideally accountancy.  You will be adept at influencing partners and demonstrate strong networking and relationship building skills.
