The Company
A global leader in the Ad-Tech data space with offices in Singapore, Sydney, London, and New York, they supply the data driving the fast moving Ad-Tech industry. They are an innovative, funded, fast growing company and a global leader in Big Data within Advertising. Their audience targeting data and insights are used by many of the world's top advertisers and agencies.

The Role
The Commercial Director will Head up the BD team driving growth across the UK and EMEA, developing strong and profitable relationships across the major agencies as well leading independents. You'll head up a sales and BD team of 5, setting and developing the strategy to build on their success to date, and being responsible for the development of revenue and sales pipeline.

The role will include:

  • Establishing and developing relationships with key stakeholders across the key 6 network agencies and independents
  • Developing the commercial strategy for Europe. Identifying opportunities to increase revenue for the region, ultimately exceeding targets set in multiple markets.
  • Leading a sales team of 4 people. Coaching the team to help improve sales performance, strategic approach and overall ensure revenue is maximised and targets exceeded. 
  • Work closely with the DSP's and DMP's, establishing relationships with key data managers at each. Become their data partner of choice to drive referrals, integration opportunities and commercial deals.
  • Identify and close commercial opportunities with platforms, agencies and advertisers helping to drive incremental and guaranteed revenue for the business.
  • Analyse revenue trends across advertisers. Clearly identifying trends in results, developing clear rationale for fluctuations, reporting this to the EMEA MD with any related action points.

And you

The ideal Commercial Director will be an Ad-Tech industry veteran with strong personal network and connections in the network agencies and trading desks. You'll be a great networker, able to identify and close opportunities in new areas as well as traditional places. 

You should be an experienced team leader, able to train, motivate and coach the sales and BD team, helping them achieve success.
