About our Client: 

Galderma, part of the Nestlé group, is one of the pioneers in the skin science sector. Leading the way in the prescription market they have invested significantly in bringing their leading products to life in the branded, OTC sector. 

The business is already posting their third year of double digit growth and with listings in the major multiples, independent pharmacy and distribution channels, the foundations are in place to achieve their considerable growth aspirations. 

With investment continuing in NPD and a board focus on the branded, self-medication and consumer markets, we are looking for a talented and ambitious Sales & Marketing leader to take control of their OTC division. 

Leading the commercial function the successful candidate will take ownership of all aspects of the business unit including all account, brand and growth strategies. 

Taking ownership for the P&L, the Sales & Marketing Leader will bring a customer and brand focus to the team in order to grow volumes whilst maintaining profitable and sustainable margins.

Desired Skills and Experience 

We are looking for a high calibre, ambitious, consumer goods professional and whilst previous experience in the OTC pharmaceutical market is beneficial it is certainly not a pre-requisite. It will be your commercial acumen, customer focus and ability to inspire those around you that will set you apart. Ownership and accountability will be second nature. 


  • Will have a strong blend of both sales and marketing expertise where the customer and patient is at the top of the agenda. Ability to bring excellent insight to consumer buyer behaviour within the sales channels.
  • Experience of delivering change in an organisation.
  • Ability to define a short, medium and long term strategy and clearly execute the steps needed to deliver the result.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to getting things done. Not afraid to lead from the front, whatever the task.
  • You will be an innovative thinker, confident in challenging the status quo and bring new ways of working to your team and organisation.
  • Excellent leadership skills where empowering and engaging your team enables you to drive superior performance.
  • Adaptive management style in line with the task at hand.

  • Intimate knowledge of the UK pharmacy market with strong contacts and relationships.
  • Experience of leading teams delivering to the UK Grocers and their buying teams.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering significant growth across multiple brands and sales channels.
  • Proven experience of delivering an NPD pipeline in line with a long term strategy.
