Our client’s office is based in Central London and is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants plus London’s famous tourist attractions are only a 30 minute drive away! Travelling to work shouldn’t pose a problem for the triumphant candidate as there are plenty of public transport options available such as the train, bus and underground! You’ll also find that there is a park ideally located near the office, providing you with plenty of opportunities to get out of the office and unwind! This agency is trusted by some of the world’s biggest brands and have consistently created engaging content which has generated excellent results for major companies! They are now on the hunt for a driven individual to front the sales department and take charge of the team members! If you are to succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership skills and be capable of motivating junior staff!

The Main Responsibilities for the Head of Sales:

  • Manage and inspire a growing team of 5 people within the sales department
  • Make sure that all budgets are adhered to
  • Liaise closely with the operations team members in order to deliver successful campaign management, performance and reports at all times
  • Ensure that you are constantly up to date on all industry news and make changes accordingly
  • On a weekly basis, run the sales meeting in order to guarantee that everyone is sure of what they are doing
  • Contribute the sales perspective when taking part in management meetings and then take the agreed actions to the sales team
  • Constantly aim to exceed your sales target by identifying opportunities for extra revenue and accurately predict the sales pipeline revenue at the same time
  • Build and maintain senior agency relationships in order to optimise agency holding group value and increase the average deal value
  • You will need to make sure that the pipeline is always up to date in terms of %’s and campaign start/end dates
  • On a daily basis, confirm that all progress has been logged

The Key Requirements for the Head of Sales:

  • You will need to have a minimum of 5 years of digital agency sales experience along with at least 1 year’s management experience
  • A creative thinker who loves to ‘think outside the box’ and has a ‘self-starter’ attitude
  • Possess ambition to succeed and deliver outstanding results
  • Previous experience of managing large budgets campaigns
  • A genuine interest in technology, video and digital solutions
  • An amazing track record of developing and maintaining strong work relationships with advertisers, other agencies
  • Capable of winning new business and exceeding client expectations
  • An entrepreneurial mind- set with excellent time management, communication and organisational skills
