An award-winning and pioneering international programmatic agency that partners with global brands, such as Expedia and Adidas, to deliver effective and efficient media campaigns. They are looking for a Technical Account Manager to lead technical conversations with their clients, directing technical projects, managing software deployments, upgrades, integrations and enhancements. This role involves technical and project leadership throughout the implementation life-cycle.
As a Technical Account Manager you will become an expert in the Real-Time-Bidding and Programmatic Advertising solutions delivered to your clients, combining technical expertise with an in depth understanding of client goals and strategies. You will lead technical conversations with your clients, scoping and agreeing on the technical deliverables in projects, managing software deployments and enhancements, and resolving complex technical problems.
You'll also work closely with the backend Software Engineering team, reviewing and debugging code, writing scripts, gathering and analysing data in SQL, and testing features and functionality.
- Understanding your clients' technical needs and suggesting solutions to improve performance
- Implementing technical solutions, including custom data imports and exports
- Contributing to the development roadmap used by the in-house software engineering team
- Consulting with clients and in-house campaign teams about best practice for setting up and optimising campaigns
- Acting as a knowledge hub and key contact for existing clients and projects
The successful Technical Account Manager will combine awesome client handling skills with a strong technical background. You'll be comfortable leading scoping conversations, agreeing deliverables, setting expectations, and asking the key questions to unearth client needs.
You'll be comfortable reviewing code, as well as working with data using SQL, and writing basic scripts. The ideal candidate will have experience with as many of the following as possible:
- Adserving & Cookies
- OOP in Ruby or Java
- Scripting with PowerShell, bash, VBA or Perl
Prior Real-Time-Bidding and Programmatic Advertising experience would be a benefit, but is not a firm requirement.
